Real Employee

Real Employee
One young man went to apply for a managerial position in a big company. He passed the initial interview, and now would meet the director for the final interview.

... The director discovered from his CV that the youth's academic achievements were excellent. He asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?" the youth answered "no".

" Was it your father who paid for your school fees?"

"My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.” he replied.

" Where did your mother work?"

"My mother worked as clothes cleaner.”

The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

" Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?"

"Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books. Besides, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said, "I have a request. When you go home today, go and clean your mother's hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back home, he asked his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to her son.

The youth cleaned his mother's hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that. It was the first time he noticed that his mother's hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother winced when he touched it.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fees. The bruises in the mother's hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his education, his school activities and his future.

After cleaning his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth's eyes, when he asked: "Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?"

The youth answered," I cleaned my mother's hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes'

“I know now what appreciation is. Without my mother, I would not be who I am today. By helping my mother, only now do I realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done on your own. And I have come to appreciate the importance and value of helping one’s family.

The director said, "This is what I am looking for in a manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life.”

“You are hired.”

This young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and worked as a team. The company's performance improved tremendously.

A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop an "entitlement mentality" and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent's efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically, they may be successful for a while, but eventually they would not feel a sense of achievement. They will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more. If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying our children instead?

You can let your child live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch on a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your child learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

Thanking You

Critical Thinker

Here are a few things about me that may interest you in following me .

My posts tend to be rather eclectic and often eccentric. I do often post content unless it strikes me as extraordinarily funny or important, so you can expect fairly unique content as I do so love to dig into the untamed regions of the web.

My sense of humor is unfettered. Nothing is sacred and I will, on occasion, post something that may be rather shocking. Please do not expect that I aspire to any of the behaviors or actions that I may refer to in my posts unless I specifically make mention to that effect within the post. While no one can make guarantees, I have some evidence to suggest that I am a good-hearted, good-natured person that wants no one to wrongfully come to harm or unhappiness. I am quite adamant about taking a stand for those that are oppressed however, but just because I do that from time to time, it does not mean that the oppressed receive any reprieves when it comes to my sense of humor.

I love Music, having had a very long association with it throughout the majority of my life..

I am a critical thinker. I like posts that make me reconsider my position on the world and the way that it works and I try to post content that will make others think upon those things as well.

I enjoy Physics, Nature, Nanotechnology, Art, Cultures, Archaeology, Architecture, Americana, History, Geneaology, Medicine, Cooking, Design, Doctor Who, 3D Graphics, Powerful Computers, Complicated Pocketwatches, Vintage Tube Audiophile Equipment, Antiques, and Music of all sorts (except polkas) puke. Oh, and I like Katharine Hepburn a lot.

I post prolifically culture, music, literature, history, nature, agriculture, economics, business, tourism, pubs, restaurants, recipes, hotels and heritage centre locations. If you share similar interests, it would be my pleasure to count you as a friend.

Mobile devices just aren't there for me yet. I have every expectation that will change and I desire that change but I am not going to waste time beta testing the Tinkertoys that are available to the masses at this time. You won't see many posts from me at all concerning mobile devices unless there are economic factors or privacy concerns involved.

That is about all I have to say for now. I may append this later but if what I have posted so far is congenial to you, I hope to see you and others in the stream!

Thanking you

Random Bullshit Generator

Random Bullshit Generator...
Marketing Strategist and Publicist
Introduction

Well, Hello there fellow friends.
Have a warped sense of humor?  You're gonna love me...  I'm quick with a snarky one-liner, and lol to everything funny, from the smarty-pants stuff, the dry British humor, to gutter trash.  If it's remotely funny, I'll lol with ya!

God has a sense of humor (see Ornithorhynchus anatinus), and so do I.
I run Social Media Marketing Community .So if you're into all things undead and hungry for brains - it's worth checking out!  We have a lot of fun there!

I really cannot be constrained to one topic, but things I post about, those in bold most frequently:
- Social Media
- Science
- Progressive Politics
- Humor
- Engineering
- PS3/PC Gaming
- Current Events
- Tech News
- TV & Movies

I'm a rare type of person that believes in science, isn't guilt-ridden, rolls my eyes at holy rollers, and probably has more Athiest and Agnostic friends than religious.I really don't get the whole Android vs. Apple thing.  It's a smartphone - and the smart part is debatable. Otherwise people wouldn't do such stupid things on them...

Thanking you

My World

BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE, RELAX /ME JUST HAVING FUN! AND MOST LIKELY FUN WOANDERING AROUND THE WORLD, WHERE COINCIDENCES OCCUR AND THINGS JUST HAPPEN FOR NO REASONS AT ALL... WEIRD PLACE, BUT A FUN HAPPY PLACE TO BE.

..... la la la la la la..... ︵(O,°)╯Oooohhh...

Firstly, it's all about me. No interactions needed. But then we happened to have something in common, and things seem go along pretty well, it's all about me and you now, then it's all about us. But it's all about mutual interests, fun engagement, and interesting conversations, all in natural responses, really. Beyond that, nothing else but surely for fun sake!!! YAY! :D/

I simply define any social network platforms as the most fun, yet misinterpreted social communication tool, the most interesting, yet causes of petty and huge misunderstandings and social conflicts that had ever been invented and developed by people for the people (and that is only my opinion). -,-

The best part of it, is we're just having fun and seem to move on. We learn things from here. But are we ready to learn? Or not? Or just let our minds wonder? I do and I do not. So we choose, and drink some juice! ︵( ' ³ ' )フ

SO, WHY AM I, MYSELF AND ME, HERE ON (How about it?)

Meanwhile Me, Myself, and my World, is just another stranger. I came here without barely known friends or friends of friends, 'cos they're pretty much staying on the other side. And real life families and friends always have the best place in my heart, outside. Only if by chance, I traditionally hang out with them and together funly share our different stories and stuff. That's for me, making a life cool and into the groove, being not too far away from this technological boundaries. It always feels better, that way. ^_^

TO GET ONLINE, I MUST BECAUSE OF (2) THINGS:

First, I can't get away with it. My work requires internet, so I need to get myself have a li'l fun online,But I'm not really a very "social" person, online. It just lucky to get bumped with cool People here I just loved the platform, where I can relax my mind even in times of misery, O_O but it's none of anyone's business here. ;)

Second, I need to keep in touch with my dear ones overseas, by using an alternative online communication tool. Just to make myself not to be worried too much 'bout them. 'Cos I miss them sometimes. X)))

If I'm not online, I used to hangout outside. Just the usual fun stuff, even if it means sleeping and slacking the whole day whenever my day offs at work! YAY!!! I really need a total recharge! :D
It isn't all about you. It's the thoughts that I'm thinking, relating, smiling, laughing and giggling. >‿<

Regards

Blue Ocean Thinker !

Imagine a market universe composed of two sorts of 'oceans': red oceans and blue oceans. Red oceans represent the industries currently in existence. This is the known market space. Blue oceans are all the industries not in existence today. This is the unknown market space.

In the red oceans, industry boundaries are well defined and generally accepted, and the competitive rules of the game are known. Here, companies Endeavour to compete with their rivals to grab a greater share of existing demand. As the market space gets more crowded, prospects for profits and growth are reduced. Products become commodities, and cut-throat competition turns the ocean bloody.
Blue oceans, in contrast, are defined by untapped market space, demand creation and the opportunity for highly profitable growth. Although some blue oceans are created well beyond existing industry boundaries, most are created from within red oceans by expanding existing industry boundaries. In blue oceans, competition is absent because the rules of the game are not yet set.

It will always be important to swim successfully in the red ocean by out-performing rivals. But with supply exceeding demand in more industries, competing for a share of contracting markets, while necessary, is not sufficient to sustain high performance.

Companies need to go beyond competing. To seize new profit and growth opportunities, they also need to create blue oceans.

Unfortunately, blue oceans are largely uncharted. The dominant focus of strategy work over the past 25 years has been on competition-based red ocean strategies. Some discussions of blue oceans exist. But until now there has been little practical guidance on how to create them. To Create Uncontested Market Space and Make the Competition Irrelevant, we provide practical frameworks and analytics for the systematic pursuit and capture of blue oceans.

Thanking you
